Further services related to marine seismic surveys and offshore wind farm or oil rig constructions are marine mammal observation (MMO) respectively protected species observation (PSO) including passive acoustic monitoring (PAM).
GRAVIONIC was founded in October 2007 as a spin-off of the Institute of Flight Guidance and Control (IFF) of the Technical University of Braunschweig/Germany. Due to this special background, our team has unique skills in the analysis, modeling, modification and improvement of dynamic systems (sensors, vehicles, aircraft, etc.) and also in special precise GNSS/INS positioning and navigation.
To date, GRAVIONIC has completed several extensive commercial marine projects (offshore South Africa, offshore Australia, offshore New Zealand etc.), as well as numerous marine gravity near- shore scientific projects on fast small boats, and scientific airborne gravity campaigns. The scientific projects are done in close collaboration between GRAVIONIC, the IFF and other public research institutes.
Experience from the following specialist geophysical fields forms the basis of GRAVIONIC's work:
We guarantees top quality geophysical and geodetic data acquisition and processing services.
An earlier GRAVIONIC gravity system was already accepted by Shell E&P for the Metouia TB08-001 tender for airborne geophysical services in 2008.
The new developed gravity system iCAGS (innovative enhanced Chekan-AM Gravity System) significantly outperforms other systems.
